Personal Favourite

A backlit lighting portrait of Yvonne with some greens around. The bokeh are great and the sharpness of the 24-70mm are excellent. It's Nano coated so, taking a backlit photo such as this is an ease with that lens. But basicly, the reason for this photo being my personal favourite is simple. I was too much mesmerized with that 'get back stare' exspression given by Yvonne. Not just me, any man would.

Yvonne Amy

My good friend, Tico came over to Penang to do some shooting and he asked me whether there's anyone we can shoot during his trip here. So, I suggested Yvonne and after some discussion between them via facebook, it's on. This was my second time working with Yvonne and it was so easy working with her. I can bet ya she can really go far in modelling if she really wants to get serious in it. It was really enjoying, and got some tips from Tico, who is super talented and have more experience in this genre. Thanks to Yvonne and Frisco for making it happen.
We went downtown Penang to get some old vintage looking background. I played a bit with the tone to make it look more classic.

Close up look on beautiful Yvonne.

Vintage look photo. I remember back in those days when we still use film inside the camera.

Personal Favourite

O, hey...she's smiling. I waited like 5 or maybe closed to 10 minutes before she starts smiling. But it's all worth it when you see that precious, cute little smile she gave me.

Avril's baby portraiture

Pulled up a photoshoot session at Loretta's house to shoot her daughter, Avril. It's pretty hard to take baby's or perhaps kid's photos because you can't instruct them to do the pose you wanted. So, everything comes in naturally and the key to it was, perseverance and patience. That's what I learned.
